Jim Mannebach is an accomplished global CEO and board member who brings 35 years of multinational leadership experience and a track record of success in finance, operations strategy, lean manufacturing, global sourcing and supply chain optimization. He mentors C-suite executives across the aerospace, technology, professional services, manufacturing and energy sectors, as well as within private equity.

CAREER HISTORY

In addition to his role at Merryck, Mannebach is a founding partner of a private equity firm, Blackbird Group, focused on the small to mid-cap industrial and distribution space where he is deeply involved in finance, treasury, and operations optimization for the firm’s portfolio companies. He is also an active Board member working with Prudential Capital Group and Velan Inc, a Toronto Stock Exchange listed international industrial valve manufacturer, where he is the Chair of the Audit Committee.

Mannebach served as global president and CEO of Norgren, an IMI plc company, a world leader in motion control and fluid technology, operating in all major global markets with 30 international manufacturing locations, a sales and service network in 75 countries, and more than 5,000 employees. During his tenure, Mannebach grew revenues to greater than $1.4 billion, doubling the company’s sales volume and profit margins over a four-year period.

Prior to Norgren, Mannebach served as Group Vice President of Roper Technologies’ Industrial Business segment. While at Roper, he had P&L responsibility consisting of eight U.S. and European based businesses. He was also an active participant in Roper’s aggressive acquisition-led value creation strategy, leading Roper’s transformational acquisition of Neptune Technology Group ($475M transaction value) and subsequent successful integration.

Before joining Roper Technologies, Mannebach spent 15 years at Emerson Electric in multiple leadership roles. As a Corporate Officer, he participated in multiple acquisitions and divestiture assessments and deals. He served as Corporate Vice President, President of Emerson’s Process Flow group, and President of Micro Motion. He also served as CFO of the Emerson Process Group, a $4 billion business segment, and Vice President and CFO of Xomox Corporation.

PERSONAL

Mannebach is a CPA and earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri. He holds an MBA from Washington University in St Louis. He is married with two children.
