Nate Kantor

Throughout his professional career and personal life, Nate has followed his passion to help others to do that which others have never done before. His professional experience includes serving as founder, President and CEO of the ITC Group, Inc., a firm specializing in the development and/or restructuring of competitive telecommunications service providers and enterprise clients. Nate provided the original team that built Winstar Communications into the fixed wireless broadband industry leader and later became the President and COO as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Nate and the ITC Group led the project that made Unitel the first competitive long distance company in Canada and negotiated the AT&T strategic partnership that eventually led to the creation of AT&T Canada. Other ITC Group assignments included Energis in the UK, Dacom Corporation in Korea, AT& T, IPC Information Systems, Department of Defense and other major corporations. Before forming the ITC Group in 1990, Nate served on the management team responsible for evolving MCI Communications Corporation into the nation’s second largest domestic long distance carrier. During his 18 years tenure, Nate headed two of the company’s largest divisions. As President of MCI’s Northeast division, he grew the unit’s revenues from $150 million to $1.5 billion. He was the President and Chief Operating Officer of MCI International, which he founded. Nate supports a number of associations, including the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund where he serves on the Fund’s Corporate Council. He is a Director on the Board of the USO of Metropolitan NY, which serves to provide a "home away from home" to the thousands of men and women serving our country. Nate is a board member of a charter school in Bridgeport, CT for 9-14 year old boys, where he also maintains a long term relationship as a mentor. Nate received a BS degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and holds a MS degree in Management from FSU.
