Hans Christian Iversen
Hans Christian feels passionately about the success of good and consistent leadership, through taking the lead and leading by example to create the environment where all individuals and teams all feel part of the general objective of delivering excellence. This can only be done through commitment and consistently high quality and credible leadership. Hans Christian has worked extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East both as a consulting partner and as CEO and Chairman for a number of media, telecommunications, financial service, and management consulting companies. He started his career in consulting with Arthur D. Little in London, before moving on to leading Logica in Denmark and later Price Waterhouse in consulting in financial services in Germany. This lead to a very diverse career in publishing and media with Egmont-Disney in central and eastern Europe and later southern Europe where, as Executive Vice President, Hans Christian led all the publishing activities, later becoming Director of Strategy for the Egmont Group. His career then took him to Deloitte where he became Partner in Charge in Denmark and later head of Global media out of London. He later joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in London as head of media and telecommunications, working on a large number of restructuring assignments. In the past five years, Hans Christian has been CEO of a regional stock broker and chairman of a number of companies in both professional services and in the manufacturing of trains and has in this period further developed his skills and expereince in mentoring the CEOs of the various companies he is currently chairing. A great believer in leading from the front and creating a strong core team spirit to create excellence, Hans Christian is now practicing this in his mentoring and in his various executive roles. He speaks six languages and is married to Penelope, a solicitor. They have two teenage children with whom he spends as much time as possible in the south of France. Hans Christian has been a mentor with the Prince's Trust for more than 10 years.
