Greg Vahle
Greg has over 32 years of experience as a pharmaceutical executive, including broad range of global responsibilities. Serving 32 years at Pfizer, he was responsible for Pfizer’s Global Business Services organization, managing over 3000 employees with an operating budget in excess of 4 billion dollars. In this role, he was responsible for the worldwide leadership of Engineering; Environmental, Health and Safety; Corporate Real Estate; Facilities; Corporate Services; Corp Procurement; Global Human Resources Operations; Corporate Aviation; and Site Security. Greg was also a member of Pfizer’s Senior Management Team where he led the design and implementation of Pfizer wide business strategies. Greg also played key leadership roles in finance, procurement and human resources. He was instrumental in helping to restructure and redesigned financial and information services across Pfizer Inc. He led the consolidation and reductions of Pfizer’s 15 billion dollar annual spend. He was also a member of Pfizer’s Human Resources Leadership Team which set HR policy and practices across all of Pfizer. Earlier in his career, Greg also had significant responsibility in sales and marketing functions. Prior to joining Pfizer, Greg spent 6 years as a USAF pilot, instructor pilot, and flight commander serving two years in Southeast Asia. Greg is a member of BOD of the USO of NY and serves on their executive committee. He has been active with the executive committees of Junior Achievement of New York and with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of New York. Greg holds a BS from Kansas State University (attending on a full athletic scholarship), an MS from the University of Missouri, and an MBA from the Mercer School. Greg holds numerous certificates in management and leadership. Married 39 years, Greg and Peggy have one grown son. Greg enjoys physical fitness, golf and downhill skiing.
