David Reimer

David, CEO of Merryck & Co Americas, is committed to the development of high-impact leaders who create maximum value for their organizations. His work over the past decade has included global M&A and restructuring projects with 30% of the Fortune 100, including the three largest financial services integrations of 2009. He has personally assisted dozens of C-suite executives through major professional and organizational transitions, and into greater successes.  In general, David has seen leaders who specialize at identifying organizational opportunities, others who stand out at creating effective, often innovative strategies for capitalizing on such moments, and a distinct group who excel at marshalling effective, enterprise-level execution. Only a few leaders, the most select, excel at all three.  From both his own experience and that of his clients, David believes this combination is a skill set that can be honed, and he views his service with Merryck & Co clients as a privileged opportunity to be part of such collaborations.  Most recently, while consulting to client companies going through restructurings and integrations of their own, David also led the 3-year private equity turnaround of Drake Beam Morin’s (DBM) North American business. As operations leader, he refocused the organization on its core business, reengaged the workforce, and launched a new business model later adopted worldwide. These efforts took DBM’s quality to number one in its industry, doubled revenues over a 3-year period and increased EBITDA 350% -- dramatically outpacing competitors’ results.  Making their home in Portland, Oregon, David and his wife Janelle have been married 18 years. They recently exchanged the luxury of sleeping for the delights of their newborn daughter, Seneca.
